This portfolio website will be under construction until Dec 22. I hope to see you soon.

Hi, I’m Tim. I’m currently a hardware engineer and researcher with the Open Agriculture Initiative at MIT Media Lab. We make open-source hardware and software tools to reimagine how the world grows food. I’ve worked on designs like the PFC 3.0 and Food Server in Boston and Anjar, India. At the moment I’m designing the lighting system for our large-scale Tree Computer. I like applying computation and mechanical engineering to disciplines like ecology and photography. Lately I’m more curious about porting them over to music, comedy, and human expression. Stay tuned.
